The Beginner’s Path
We don’t throw complete beginners straight into random games. Follow this simple two-step path and you’ll always start at the right level — nervous first-timers very welcome.
Intro to Padel
For complete beginners — you’ve never played, or only once or twice.
Complete beginners start here first.
Beginner+ Sessions
Once you’ve played around five games and the basics have clicked, level up into Beginner+.
Already played a few games? Jump in here.
Padel is 2 vs 2, so an intro group needs 3–4 players. Here’s the whole flow — it’s quick once you’re in the group.
Find 3–4 players — connect with other beginners in the Intro group.
Agree on a day & time that works for everyone.
Check court availability at PlayersHome (or Padellers West, Sloterdijk).
Confirm the time works for all players — and for me, the trainer.
Create a small WhatsApp group named with the date & time (e.g. “Intro Padel — Fri 21 June — 19:00”) and add me.
One person books the court — the court cost is split between the players.
Once booked, I send Tikkies for the lesson fee — €37.50 + court, per person, for 90 minutes.
Tip: leave the planning group once your intro session is booked, so it stays fresh for the next beginners.
Rackets
No racket? No problem. Rent one at most venues for around €5, or grab a second-hand one on Marktplaats.nl. I also bring 2 spare rackets for students during the intro.
Pickup
Coming from further out? I can pick up to 2 people up from Sloterdijk station on the way to the court — just ask in the group.
Select your preferred lesson type and let’s level up your game. Rackets and balls provided for every session.

We sort it in the chat
No rigid calendar — we agree dates together in the WhatsApp group so we can form balanced teams. It’s quick, promise.

Padel Guild is more than a school. It started with one racket and zero clue — three years on I play most days, and two years ago I began coaching the people who were exactly where I’d been.
We’re a community of players on a journey to master the game and create unforgettable moments, on and off the court.
Passion
I live and breathe padel. Everything we do comes from loving it.
Progress
We focus on your development and help you reach your goals.
Community
Padel is better when we do it together.
PlayersHome 2
Indoor courts a short walk from Amsterdam Sloterdijk station — easy by train, bus or bike, and dry whatever the weather does.
Let the glass work for you
The back wall isn’t your enemy — it’s a teammate. Let the ball come off it, wait, and you’ll have twice as long to play a calm shot.
Slow down to speed up
Beginners rush and smash. The players who improve fastest do the opposite: soft hands, steady rallies, power only when the point asks for it.
Win the middle
Most points are decided down the centre. Play there, take the net with your partner, and the rest tends to take care of itself.
I’ve genuinely never played. Wrong place?
Not even slightly — complete beginners are my favourite people to teach. We start from “this is how you hold it” and you’ll be rallying before the session is over.
Do I need my own racket?
Nope. I bring spare rackets and all the balls. Just wear trainers with a decent grip and clothes you can move in.
How many people in a lesson?
Small groups, usually two to four, matched roughly by level. It keeps the price friendly and keeps padel what it’s best at — a game you play with people.
How do I pay?
After we lock a date in the WhatsApp chat, you settle up there — Tikkie or cash, whatever’s easiest. €37.50 per person for the 90 minutes.
The court awaits you
The fastest way to reach me is WhatsApp — send your level and when you’re free, and we’ll find a court.
